MORNING:  We met at the Easton Historical Society's home at the Railroad Depot.  A walking tour of Ames gardens followed.  Then boarded a school bus for tour of Easton's landmarks and historic places, including the renovated Ames Free Library and some of our old homesteads.  Thanks to our tour leaders Town Historian, Hazel Varella; Easton Historical Curator, Frank Meninno; and our bus driver, John Carlson's daughter.
